An internationally recognized environmental chemist, he authored "Cation Binding by Humic Substances," Cambridge University Press, 2002.	The Honorary Chair is Professor Diane M. McKnight Professor McKnight is a Fellow of the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado, USA, where she teaches environmental engineering . An internationally recognized limnologist, she is the Editor of the Journal of Geophysical Research-Biogeosciences.
