At the time of my graduation I had worked with the HA group for two and a half years. My project remained the same throughout my time in the lab. I studied adsorption of minerals on HA, beginning with 20 different minerals and finally focussing on the clay mineral Kaolinite. I was able to work in the lab full time for one quarter my senior year ,in order to complete my project/senior thesis with Professor Davies. My work (along with many others' in the lab) ended in presentations and publications -- very exciting for an undergraduate.
I am a graduate student in Physical Therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital, Graduate School.
