studied adsorption of the adenine triad on mercury-bound German humic
acid. This project was similar to previous research done in the lab using uracil solutions
and published in Journal of Physical Chemistry. The results showed that the humic acid
has binding sites that specifically bind adenine and its derivatives and these binding
sites affect other sites on the molecule.
