I worked on the binding of metals by solid humic acids and found that the data fit the Langmuir model. Bound metals seem to occupy similar sites in HAs from different sources. 

I work for NEN Perkin Elmer Life Sciences Inc. primarily with cDNA microarrays.

I am a graduate student at NU in the Bioinformatics program.
